KEM is evolving.
We’re entering a new chapter—one that’s more intentional, more innovative, and more aligned than ever before. Over the next few months, we’re stepping back from the day-to-day demands of running a beauty brand to make space for something greater: a full-scale transformation that reaches every layer of who we are and how we show up for you.
This is not just a rebrand. This is a considered rebuild of our product, our processes, our customer experience, and our purpose. After seven years in business, we’re proud of the brand we’ve built—but we also know that growth requires change. It’s time to realign, refresh, and rise into what we’re truly meant to be.
We’ll officially relaunch on August 1st, 2025—and when we do, it won’t be business as usual. It’ll be better. Welcome to KEM 3.0.
The Transition Timeline
We’re starting strong with a 10-week cool-down period that gives you a final opportunity to shop and stock up before we take a full break. From now until May 28th, 2025, our e-commerce store will only be open once a week on Wednesdays—also known as KEMDAY—with up to 70% off select products.
The store will be closed for the remaining six days each week. This structure allows us to continue serving you without overwhelming the very systems we’re working to rebuild and refine. It’s a delicate balance, and we’re approaching it with care.
After the cool-down ends on May 28th, we’ll enter a two-month full pause. No orders. No new drops. Just focused, behind-the-scenes transformation as we prepare for our reemergence on August 1st.

This reset touches every part of our business—from formula to fulfilment. KEM 3.0 is about bringing you a more seamless, elevated, and deeply personal experience.
1. Product Innovation
We’re revisiting every formula in our catalogue to enhance texture, wear time, and skin-first benefits—especially for melanated skin.
We’re also working on launching entirely new product categories—solutions our community has been asking for, based on your feedback, questions, and real-world needs. These launches are grounded in research and co-created with you in mind.
Our packaging is also undergoing a thoughtful redesign. Expect more sustainable materials, refined finishes, and functional designs that look good and work even better.
2. Customer Experience
From the moment you land on our site to the day your products arrive, your journey with KEM should feel intentional. We're building a smarter, smoother, and more personalised shopping experience—one that adapts to you.
We’re implementing a new CRM system that will allow us to recommend products tailored to your past purchases, skin tone, and skincare goals. We’re also overhauling customer service to provide faster, real-time support, and launching a completely reimagined Loyalty 2.0 program that gives you real value through early access, exclusive offers, and meaningful rewards.
3. Operations & Fulfilment
Behind the scenes, we’re upgrading everything—labs, manufacturing partners, packaging vendors, shipping systems. This ensures that we can scale with consistency, quality, and care.
We’re investing in new tech and systems to improve inventory management, demand forecasting, and batch control, which will help us reduce waste and avoid sell-outs or slowdowns. We’re also redesigning internal operations to better support our team, partners, and creators across the board.
4. Community, Creators & Brand Growth
KEM has always been about community—and now, we’re deepening that commitment.
We’re expanding our Creator and Brand Affiliate Program with more training, better tools, and higher earning potential. We’re also exploring community-led funding opportunities, including the possibility of crowdfunding, giving you the chance to own a piece of the brand you’ve helped build.
In real life, we’ll still be outside. Expect more intentional pop-ups, masterclasses, and community panels across key cities. We’re also nurturing meaningful partnerships with retailers and collaborators who share our values and vision.
5. Content & Connection
We’re not going silent during this pause—we’re becoming more visible and transparent than ever.
Our content strategy is evolving to be richer, more educational, and more reflective of what it takes to build a conscious beauty brand. Expect to see real-time lab footage, packaging trials, founder check-ins, and honest stories from behind the scenes.
We’ll continue to use social media to share our progress, connect with you directly, and build momentum as we prepare for relaunch. Less fluff, more substance.
